3rd time repeat customer wanted Z L to do up their 3rd F&B outlet. Taking over from previous tenant, the Z L team made use of whatever was left and sourced for enhancement pieces to polish up this gem. A wire mesh aluminium rack with sliding tracks and stainless steel bronze-brushed finish counter top were customized. Little tweaks to the lights and fans scheme increased the restaurant’s ventilation and brightness. The main bar counter was donein cement screed finish and eopxy coating, and the stainless steel worktop in bronze accented finish. You have to visit to see and taste the real deal.

Direct Funeral Services Showroom (Lavender St)

It was Z L Construction’s privilege to be the main design & build contractor behind Direct Funeral Services’ new showroom at 127 Lavender Street. The heritage showroom at Lavender Street as a ‘home ground’ for founding chairman Roland Tay has familiar and sentimental roots for many who has gone through bereavement. The fundamentals of the redesign invariably were not only to highlight the excellent philanthropic work of the founder, but also to put the spotlight on the success of the work and mission of Direct Funeral Services.

Client saw our portfolio and was won over by our expertise on wet works and tiling. The team was engaged to remove and replace popping tiles in the living area, and the end results are a spell binding infusion of modern Scandinavian and classical Peranakan. What a beauty!

As a trained interior specialist, the Mister had many bold and interesting ideas to spruce up the space and make it a home unique to them. It was also a great opportunity for the team to rise up to the challenges and demands from someone in the industry. A bold decision was made to move fridge out of the kitchen to free up more cooking area for the Missus. The customized barn door hides the storage shelves and white board for messages. A movable oven unit with matching solid surface and laminates was also customized. We love how the colors of the furniture and the fridge offer vibrant and chic energy.

A project for one of our own at Z L. Warm reviews were received from friends and relatives on our workmanship. As a couple with a young one who like to cook, extensive carpentry design was done for the living and kitchen areas.
