“Second time working with Jake and ZLC and they more than met our lofty expectations. Barring the unfortunate delays due to COVID restrictions, my wife and I were both delighted with the end result, especially how Jake had incorporated our ideas and infused his practical tips into the design without overly restricting our creative freedom. I would especially commend Jake for the transparent approach and commitment to quality, promptly updating us of any hiccups along the way, agreeing upfront on any variation orders, and also staying committed to make good any defects or errors even though some were partly due to my oversight or other vendors. Workmanship and materials were of high quality as well, which inevitably translated to slightly higher costs compared to several other quotes. Jake also went the extra mile on several occasions, such as offering to self-collect my Taobao haul from my temporary location while I was away. All in all, fantastic job done and a big THANK YOU to Jake and ZLC for making this renovation journey a pleasant one. Highly recommended!”
